Jordan (Amman – Petra – Wadi Rum Desert – Dead Sea) - 6 Nights
Jordan is an Arab country in Western Asia, on the East Bank of the Jordan River. Jordan is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the south and the east, Iraq to the north-east, Syria to the north and Israel and the Palestinian West Bank to the west. The Dead Sea is located along its western borders and the country has a 26-kilometre coastline on the Red Sea in its south-west. Jordan is strategically located at the crossroads of Asia, Africa and Europe. The capital, Amman, is Jordan's most populous city as well as the country's economic, political and cultural center.
What is now Jordan has been inhabited by humans since the Paleolithic period. Three stable kingdoms emerged there at the end of the Bronze Age: Ammon, Moab and Edom. Later rulers include the Nabataean Kingdom, the Roman Empire, and the Ottoman Empire. Jordan is a relatively small, semi-arid country with an area of 89,342 Square kilometers and a population of about 10 million, making it the 11th-most populous Arab country. Sunni Islam, practiced by around 95% of the population, is the dominant religion in Jordan and coexists with an indigenous Christian minority. The Jordanian economy, one of the smallest economies in the region, is attractive to foreign investors based upon a skilled workforce. The country is a major tourist destination, also attracting medical tourism due to its well-developed health sector.
The tourism sector is a large source of employment, hard currency, and economic growth. The majority of tourists coming to Jordan are from European and Arab countries. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Jordan is home to around 100,000 archaeological and tourist sites. Some very well preserved historical cities include Petra and Jerash, the former being Jordan's most popular tourist attraction and an icon of the kingdom.

It features ruins from the 4th to the 6th century. Then we will proceed through Wadi Al Mujib, a deep valley holding one of Jordan's most breathtaking views. We will continue our journey to the city of Kerak, where we will visit the Crusader's Castle, with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period, and get to know the architectural military brilliance of the Crusaders. Day 4: Excursion in Petra
After breakfast, we will start our journey to explore Petra, described as the “rose-red city, half as old as time”. The ancient city was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicolored stones are an incredible attraction. The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs.
